How it works

Simple. Convenient. Achievable.

Using a simple telehealth platform from the convenience of home, we’ll chat and make a rehabilitation plan that is designed to be achievable.

  1. Book a video consultation

Use my online booking system to make an appointment at a convenient time. For my virtual consultations, I use a secure telehealth program that opens in your internet browser.

Payment is taken at the time of making the booking. Once your booking is completed, you'll receive a confirmation email so you'll know it's been successfully added to my calendar.

  1. Chat from your couch

From the convenience of home, office or anywhere convenient and comfortable for you, we'll start with a chat.

I need to understand how your life is being impacted and what you'd love to be doing again.

I'll ask you to do a few basic movements so I can form an assessment and determine your capabilities. I'll watch you and ensure any at-home exercises I give you are done safely and won't increase pain. I'll also provide advice on activities you should avoid doing and things you can keep on doing.

In some scenarios, a referral to a hand surgeon for their opinion may be necessary, but this is no different to seeing me face to face.

It's just like a consultation in a clinic, only from the comfort of your home or office.

  1. Start your recovery

After your appointment, I'll email you a clear, easy-to-follow care program with a range of exercises to complete at home. The exercises are also available on a free app that can be downloaded to your mobile device.

All exercises are designed to be achievable, and in many cases, using items you already have around your home.

At the end of the consultation, we’ll decide if another appointment is needed and when.

Regardless of whether another appointment is needed, I’ll follow up around a week after our consultation. I’ll send you a friendly email with a few questions to see how you’re feeling about the at-home care program.
